Martin Luther King Day Knitting for Charity Event - a day ON, not a day off: Monday, January 16th, 1:00-4:00 pm, Fountain Square Mall Garden Area (across the street from Yarns Unlimited)
An annual event when volunteer knitters and crocheters gather to make hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, etc., for distribution to various charitable organizations.
Feral Cat Friends Fundraiser - another annual event at Yarns Unlimited to raise funds for Feral Cat Friends featuring cat toys knitting and a silent auction.
Knit & Chat at Barnes and Noble meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. This is a FREE event started and organized by Yarns Unlimited to serve the local knitting community. Come for friendly conversations and knitting tips from your fellow knitters. Crocheters are also welcome.
Bloomington Spinners and Weavers Guild meets on the 3rd Monday of each month, 7:00 p.m., at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, located at Smith Road and East Third Street.
Fall Fiber Arts Show - a showcase and market for fiber arts & crafts by the members of Bloomington Spinners and Weavers Guild.
